Innovation in Aged Care – Care Exchange

Technology continues to play a big part in our lives, none more so than the impact of innovation and advancements being made in the health care sector.

At Allity, we recognise the significant impact that technology can make in supporting frontline staff in our Homes to provide high quality care, and as such we have committed $8 million to upgrade our current systems.

Allity has partnered with a leading international health software company called AlayaCare to develop our new ‘Care Exchange’ clinical system. This collaboration has resulted in bringing industry leading clinical assessments and care planning practices to help us plan and deliver care in a smarter, easier and more personalised way.

A dedicated project team has been working behind the scenes for the past 18 months to incorporate the latest technology to enable our Nurses, Carers and Lifestyle teams to provide the highest level of personalised care to our residents each and every day.

Over the next six months we will be implementing Care Exchange across all our Homes in a controlled and phased rollout. Please be assured that there will be no disruption to the quality of care provided to your loved ones as we transition to our new system.
