David Armstrong CEO Allity Aged Care

David Armstrong
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

David has over 20 years of experience in the aged care industry and is recognised for his leadership in the development of the Amity Group/DCA Aged Cared Limited (now Bupa Aged Care) from start up to around 100 homes across Australia and New Zealand before partnering with Archer Capital to form Allity. David has held various aged care industry Board and Federal Government Committee appointments and is currently a Director of the Aged Care Guild, and on the Board of LASA NSW.

Gordon Ford
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Gordon has over 18 years experience as a Chief Financial Officer working across the Healthcare Insurance and Medical Devices industries. Most recently, he held the CFO position with Healthecare when it was an Archer portfolio company, as such Gordon has relevant healthcare experience as well as a successful track record of partnering with Property Teams. Gordon is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree along with Post Graduate degrees in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. 

Glen Hurley
Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Glen has over 16 years of experience in health and aged care having worked in the acute and community health sectors as a clinician and health manager as well as working for the regulator of the aged care sector in Australia. Glen’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy and a Masters of Health Administration and he has spent time working in the UK and NZ aged care markets developing customer service standards and operating models and management systems.

 Tomas Chubb

Tomás Chubb
Chief Commercial Officer

Tomás joins Allity having worked with a multitude of businesses across a diverse range of industries. He was a key member of the Archer Capital team in the acquisition of Lendlease Aged Care Homes - now Allity. Prior to joining Archer, Tomás worked for McKinsey & Company in the UK, Europe and South America. He brings a valuable skill set to Allity in ensuring the business maintains a competitive edge and strategic direction. Tomás holds a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from INSEAD and Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Arts (Engineering) degrees from Cambridge University.

Jacqueline Hopwood
Head of People and Culture

Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Social Science with Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and over 16 years’ experience partnering with businesses to bring value through innovative and sound people and culture solutions. Jacqueline has experience working across various industries including Software, Insurance and Telecommunications. She is well versed in leading cultural change, and applying a strategic approach to building human capital. While studying at University, she worked as an Assistant in Nursing in the aged care industry providing a solid grounding for her role at Allity.

Janet Leung
Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications

Janet has over 20 years of experience working in and with organisations across diverse industry sectors in marketing, communications and change management. Having operated her own design agency for over 10 years along with 12 years in senior management leading and facilitating strategic planning projects and partnering with organisations in building capabilities to support  business performance, her role spans broadly across all areas of Allity.

 

Martin Adams
Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Martin has 20 years of IT experience, of which 10 years have been within the Australian Health Industry specialising in Aged Care. Organisations for which he has worked include Bupa Aged Care, St Vincent’s and Calvary Health Care. During this time he has successfully developed and implemented industry leading IT systems and implemented best practice methodologies. He also has a proven record of managing the IT systems for large aged care providers with 50+ homes and successfully integrating new acquisitions.

Steve Wiblin

Stephen Wiblin
Clinical Strategy and Development Manager

Steve has extensive industry-wide experience as a senior clinical consultant and was most recently the Associate Global Chief Nurse at Bupa. He has lead the development of robust clinical governance, nursing workforce and capabilities systems to support clinical strategies to achieve global aged care excellence. Steve's focus is ensuring Allity operates at optimum clinical effectiveness at all times to deliver high quality care consistently across Allity's network of Homes.

Ray Kelleher Head of Property Allity

Ray Kelleher
Head of Property

Ray has worked in the Health and Aged Care sectors for over 12 years, much of that time in Executive positions. He has had extensive exposure to various levels of government throughout his roles leading Aged Care and Asset Management projects. Ray holds an Executive MBA having been involved in committees with a number of industry bodies including the Property Council of Australia and the Facility Management Association of Australia.
