What has happened?
Why is Allity being sold?

What does the sale outcome look like?
What will the impact of the sale be on our Homes?
Will my role continue?
Yes, you will be offered employment under Bolton Clarke in your current role with no changes to your role description or responsibilities. There will be enhanced opportunities for staff as party of a larger organisation – including education and training, access to the latest research practice and clinical expertise as well as NFP salary packaging benefits.
Will my role description change?
No, your role description will remain the same
Will my manager change?
No, day to day operations and management reporting for your Home will remain as they are
Will my pay day stay the same?
Yes
Will my Roster change?
We will continue roster management in the same way we currently do.
Will we be getting more staff?
As part of our normal operations, our staffing is based on the mix and profile of residents in our care at any point in time. This will continue.
Will the Enterprise Agreement still apply?
There is no intention to change the EA conditions and entitlements as they currently stand within the short term, however you will be consulted if there are any proposed changes.
What happens to my annual leave, personal & sick leave?
Your leave balances will transfer to Bolton Clarke. Your original start date with Allity will remain for the purpose of calculating entitlements.
Can I get my leave paid out?
No, your leave balances will transfer.
What if I don’t want to transfer to the new owners?
As you are being offered ongoing employment, if you don’t wish to transfer you will need to tender your resignation.
Can I still work at other Allity homes?
Yes, all opportunities to work in other Allity Homes will continue as they currently are when vacancies arise.
What is happening with uniforms?
Allity uniforms will remain in place.
Do the unions know about this?
Yes, the unions will be advised accordingly.
Am I able to work at/transfer to other Bolton Clarke homes?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to apply for work at or transfer to other homes if a position becomes available.
What does this mean for our residents and families?
Our residents and families are being notified, and we do not expect the change in ownership to affect them, as all resident agreements and fee arrangements will be honoured.

2. ALLITY SERVICES EMPLOYEES
Where the Bolton Clarke head office located?
Bolton Clarke has support centres in Brisbane and Melbourne
How will this affect my current position and employment?
Your employment will continue, there will be no change to your role.
Will the office close down?
No, all residential aged care operations will continue to be run out of Sydney office with support from our Allity Services in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide offices.
Will we need to relocate?
No
Will my pay day stay the same?
Yes, monthly pay cycle will remain.
With Bolton Clarke being a not-for-profit provider, are there additional benefits?
On completion of the transfer of ownership, you will be entitled to the salary sacrifice benefits applicable to the employees of not-for-profit operators. Further information on this will be communicated in the future.
