Visitor Access Policies

Allity's visitors policies are aligned to the Industry Visitor Code.

Policies relating to visitor access are implemented based on the advice of health authorities, government updates and identified community risk.

We recommend all visitors maintain up to date knowledge of 'Hot Spots' and 'High Risk Areas' as identified by the relevant state health authorities.

To assist our Homes in providing the safest possible environment for visits, we ask that all visitors continue to adhere to the Home’s booking, and screening processes to continue to maintain a safe and COVID-free environment.

QUEENSLAND

As at 28-September 2020 in line with Queensland Government directives, residential aged care facilities will be permitted to have visitors  with a requirement that all visitors observe the Home's covid screening and visitor access policies.

NEW SOUTH WALES

As at 28-September, NSW Homes will allow social (short) and essential visits to Homes. All visitors must observe the Home's covid screening and visitor access policies.

VICTORIA

The DHHS in Victoria has recently released directives on visitor restrictions. Please be aware that we undertake regular risk assessments in relation to our visitor policies, and at times may mean additional safety measures over and above the government directives as required across our Homes to maintain a safe environment for our residents and staff.

Essential visitors will be required to complete our Pre-visit checklist and we ask that you monitor your own health status over this critical time and if you feel even mildly unwell, please do not come into the Home, even if the visit is considered essential.
